Beautiful antique Franklin treadle sewing machine in its original wooden cabinet and cast-iron treadle base.
Franklin sewing machines were sold through Sears, Roebuck & Co. during the early 20th century. This example retains its wonderful original black finish with ornate gold decoration and large FRANKLIN lettering.
The machine is mounted in a substantial wood cabinet/table with the traditional foot-powered treadle mechanism underneath.
